Unlock greater airflow, improved charge-air cooling and expanded fueling capability with the Project Gamma BMW Gen 2 B58 Intake Manifold with Port Injection.
Engineered for the B58TU/B58 Gen 2 platform, this high-performance manifold combines a large 6.2-liter plenum with an upgraded integrated charge-air cooler core. Compared with the factory manifold, the Project Gamma core is 75% larger, providing increased cooling capacity and airflow potential for tuned, upgraded-turbo and high-horsepower B58 builds. The upgraded core measures 490 mm × 100 mm × 100 mm.
Bigger Plenum. Smoother Airflow. More Power Potential.
The enlarged plenum increases the volume of air available to the engine while helping reduce restriction through the intake manifold. Air enters through the throttle body, fills the high-volume plenum, and is distributed across all six cylinders.
The larger internal volume is designed to provide:
- Increased airflow capacity
- Smoother air distribution across all six cylinders
- Improved throttle-response potential
- Better charge-air cooling
- More consistent intake-air temperatures during repeated pulls
- Greater horsepower and torque potential
- Improved support for upgraded turbos and high-boost applications
The Gen 2 B58 uses a water-cooled charge-air cooler integrated into the intake-manifold assembly, making the manifold and cooler core critical components in controlling charge-air temperature and airflow.
Integrated Port Injection
The Project Gamma manifold includes six dedicated port-injection provisions, allowing one supplemental fuel injector to be positioned for each cylinder.
Port injection can provide the additional fueling capacity required for vehicles running:
- Upgraded turbochargers
- Higher boost pressure
- Ethanol-based fuel blends
- High-horsepower custom tuning
- Drag, roll-racing and track applications
A correctly configured port-injection system can supplement the factory direct-injection system when additional fuel delivery is required.
Three Auxiliary Injection Ports
The manifold also features three auxiliary ports that can be used for properly configured methanol-injection or other advanced fueling applications. This gives tuners greater flexibility when building a complete fueling and charge-cooling system.

When will my order ship?
If it’s in stock and the order is placed before 3pm, it ships the same day. If you ordered a product with ceramic coating, it will ship the following business day.
If the product or color spec you’re looking for is not in stock, you can join the waitlist by clicking the “email when available†button underneath the “out of stock†label. We will email you as soon as your product is available and give you an estimated back in stock time.
What if I submitted a custom order?
If you are making a custom order, email us to submit your request and we will give you an estimated delivery time based on the special manufacturing time.
What if my product arrives damaged, incorrect, or is missing parts?
If you received the incorrect product or color, missing parts, or the item is defective, email us a picture with your order number and you will receive a refund or exchange. Contact us at info@shopprojectgamma.comand we will work with you to make it right.
What if I’m not satisfied with the product?
If the product is unused and uninstalled, we can offer you a refund, exchange, or store credit. If the product was used or installed on your vehicle, we unfortunately cannot offer any refund, exchanges, or credit.
What if I installed my products and then I decide I don’t like them?
Unfortunately used or installed products will not qualify for a return or refund. If you have any questions or concerns you can email us at info@shopprojectgamma.com
A restocking fee of 20% of the original purchase price may be applied to returned products. This fee covers the costs associated with processing the return and restocking the item if applicable. Please refer to our policies page for more info regarding all exchanges and returns.
