Upgrade your BMW S58 with Project Gamma Carbon Fiber Intakes & Filters, designed for improved airflow, aggressive turbo sound, sharper throttle response, and a premium engine bay appearance.
The factory intake system on the BMW S58 engine can become restrictive, especially on tuned or higher-performance setups. Project Gamma carbon fiber intakes are engineered to improve airflow to the twin turbos while giving your BMW M2, M3, or M4 a clean motorsport-inspired look under the hood.
Each intake system features a durable carbon fiber or carbon Kevlar construction paired with 4-layer reinforced silicone extensions. This two-piece design helps channel cooler air toward the filters and provides a smoother airflow path compared to the factory intake setup. The result is improved intake efficiency, stronger induction sound, better turbo response, and a more aggressive driving experience.
Project Gamma also includes our newly designed hydrophobic air filters with this kit. These filters are built to provide strong airflow while adding extra protection against dust and water exposure during normal driving conditions.

Extension Options:
This intake system is offered with two different silicone extension options: Long Extension and Short Extension.
Long Extension – Front Mount Intake Setup
The long extension option allows the filters to sit behind the front grilles for a true front mount intake setup. This setup is designed to channel airflow from the front of the vehicle directly toward the filters.
Please note: the long extension version requires front bumper removal for installation.
Short Extension – Engine Bay Intake Setup
The short extension option does not require front bumper removal. With this setup, the filters sit inside the engine bay in the factory air duct area. This is the easier installation option and is recommended for customers who do not want to remove the bumper for installation and filter replacement.

Installation Note:
Professional installation is recommended. The long extension front mount version requires removal of the front bumper. Please select the correct extension option before checkout based on your preferred setup.
Rain & Snow Protection – Long Extension Front Mount Setup
Project Gamma filters feature 6 layers of cotton filtration material and a hydrophobic mesh layer to provide extra protection against dust, water, and harsh weather conditions.
We have sold thousands of these filters and have not received any complaints related to normal rain, snow, or wet road driving conditions. As long as water is not sprayed directly into the filter and the filter is not submerged, normal rain, snow, or road moisture should not cause an issue. These filters are made for real-world driving conditions, including harsh weather areas. However, we always recommend avoiding direct pressure washing, intentionally spraying water directly onto the filters, or driving through deep standing water.
When will my order ship?
If it’s in stock and the order is placed before 3pm, it ships the same day. If you ordered a product with ceramic coating, it will ship the following business day.
If the product or color spec you’re looking for is not in stock, you can join the waitlist by clicking the “email when available†button underneath the “out of stock†label. We will email you as soon as your product is available and give you an estimated back in stock time.
What if I submitted a custom order?
If you are making a custom order, email us to submit your request and we will give you an estimated delivery time based on the special manufacturing time.
What if my product arrives damaged, incorrect, or is missing parts?
If you received the incorrect product or color, missing parts, or the item is defective, email us a picture with your order number and you will receive a refund or exchange. Contact us at info@shopprojectgamma.comand we will work with you to make it right.
What if I’m not satisfied with the product?
If the product is unused and uninstalled, we can offer you a refund, exchange, or store credit. If the product was used or installed on your vehicle, we unfortunately cannot offer any refund, exchanges, or credit.
What if I installed my products and then I decide I don’t like them?
Unfortunately used or installed products will not qualify for a return or refund. If you have any questions or concerns you can email us at info@shopprojectgamma.com
A restocking fee of 20% of the original purchase price may be applied to returned products. This fee covers the costs associated with processing the return and restocking the item if applicable. Please refer to our policies page for more info regarding all exchanges and returns.
