Designed specifically around McLaren’s twin-turbo V8 platform, this intake improves airflow where it matters most—without compromising drivability or reliability.
Each system is constructed using our signature 4-layer reinforced silicone, featuring an oil-resistant inner lining and precision aluminum connectors. This design ensures smooth, unrestricted airflow while maintaining durability under high heat and boost conditions, all while adding a clean, aggressive appearance to the engine bay.
Performance-Focused Airflow & Sound Design
Unlike the factory sealed intake, this system features additional air inlet openings in the intake box—an intentional design choice that improves both turbo response and sound.
At low speeds and during city driving, the open inlets reduce airflow restriction, allowing the turbos to spool significantly faster and respond instantly to throttle input. While some warmer engine bay air may be present at very low speeds, the airflow advantage delivers noticeable gains in responsiveness and low-RPM acceleration.
As vehicle speed increases, the factory air ducts supply a steady stream of cool outside air, becoming the primary air source at cruising and highway speeds. Intake temperatures stabilize while retaining the airflow and response benefits of the open design.
